Axiom Update 3.28.0

We are pleased to announce that Axiom version 3.28.0 is now live!

This update contains the following changes:

Rules Mapping

  • Introduced the Custom Fields feature for Processes and Controls (following on from 3.25.0's Risk Custom Fields introduction) to give you much greater flexibility in how you design, attribute and report on your Processes and Controls in Axiom

  • Improved the User Interface (UI) messaging on the Custom Fields to clearly illustrate where a Field may be hidden due to missing visibility rules

  • Added further guidance to identify where Field visibility rules would cause a circular reference to provide a more intuitive User Experience (UX)

  • Significantly improved the performance on the Rules Mapping matrices for Enterprise-scale clients with large compliance matrices

  • Similar improvements were made to the Management Information (MI) tables for Custom Fields

  • Added improved filtering when clicking on the Event (e.g. Tasks and Attestations) counts on the Process, Risk and Control matrix screens to link directly to the Events on the Completed & Due grid

  • Added the ability to filter entities that have been joined via the Topic matrix's 'Advanced Relationships' feature to only include entities directly linked to the Topic

Oversight (SMCR)

  • Introduced FCA Directory Template Files which now deliver the latest formats supplied on the FCA Directory Persons page, further simplifying the process to submit directory Persons in the correct format, on time

  • Added various HR importer options and removed reporting on already terminated Persons to scale down Importer Load Reports

General Improvements & Fixes

  • Resolved an issue where expired Certification Functions were not being displayed when the 'Show historical items' flag was set on the Person Grid. A small icon has been added for a smoother User Experience (UX)

  • Resolved a case where the FCA Directory page was registering empty fields being cleared as a 'Single Amend' case

  • Resolved an issue where it was no longer possible to copy a Dataset from one entity (e.g. Control, Process or Risk) to another via the drag-and-drop functionality on the Event 'design' screens

  • Resolved an unrelated issue where a Dataset was not being shown as 'mapped' when mapping to a Person or Responsibility on the Event design screens

  • Resolved an issue whereby it was not possible to select between different Workflows on the Oversight Overview page where two or more Workflows shared a Step of the same name

  • Resolved an issue where it was not possible to map a Rule to a Topic in the Risk context on the Risk Mapping screen

  • Resolved an issue where it was not possible to add a User with an apostrophe before the @ symbol

  • Resolved an issue whereby the & symbol was not being represented correctly in various places throughout the system due to encoding amendments, introduced as part of our regular security updates

  • Removed the option to close an Issue where a User did not have the Open/Close Issue permission, resulting in an error message

  • Resolved an issue where Topics were not being displayed in the MI table for several measures when plotted against the Topic dimension

  • Removed the option to add the current version of Documents to unscheduled Documents as this functionality was not supported

  • Tidied up the UI when adding multiple Investigators / Watchers to an Issue to make it easier to distinguish individual Users
